The Center for Black Women's Wellness in conjunction with the Vine City Civic Associationplan to work with in Vine City, a neighborhood of Atlanta.

Louisiana

New Orleans was another one of the original 5 demonstration sites that begun in the housing community, St. Thomas and moved to B.W. Cooper in 2003. After Hurricane Katrina, the site is currently not operating until further notice. www.kingsleyhouse.org

While Central neighborhood is primarily African-American, both Central and the adjacent Bryant neighborhood is comprised of Latino, Hmong, and South East African origins as well. www.southsidechs.org/

St. Paul West Side represents the 2nd generation of Plain Talk, the first successful replication since the original demonstration sites were established in 1994. The hmong community, Payne-Phalen is implementing in the Spring of 2006. http://www.neighb.org/

New Mexico

After a successful 1st year of implementation and widespread media coverage, 6 new sites are expected to start in the state by 2008.

This large community is comprised of both an apartment complex and an individual housing development with mainly African-American and Caucasian residents.

A collaboration between the city of Milwaukee Health Dept. and New Concepts has resulted in widespread media attention throughout the state.
