Replication & Expansion

P/PV’s Replication and Expansion unit has substantial experience helping programs replicate nationally. With funding from the Annie E. Casey Foundation, P/PV provides Plain Talk program sites with various supports, ensuring that Plain Talk is implemented in the most effective and efficient manner and with fidelity to the program model.

Support Components

  • Assistance with all aspects of initial program implementation, including:
    • On-site training
    • Conference calls with key stakeholders
    • Advocating for the program with community/political decision-makers
    • Assistance in preparing for the universal data collection system
    • Sharing knowledge of available funding sources
    • Ongoing problem-solving
  • Providing fundraising/development assistance
  • Supplying all Plain Talk program materials
  • Ongoing electronic, telephone and on-site technical assistance for program, organizational and funding issues affecting Plain Talk’s operation and sustainability
  • Conducting data analysis for community mapping survey
    Guidance in interpreting data to monitor program implementation and plan continuous performance enhancements
  • Providing opportunities for interaction and peer-to-peer learning with other sites implementing Plain Talk around the country
  • Scheduling annual conferences to help sites gain knowledge on best practices and quality improvement
  • Convening site learning activities, including peer-to-peer exchanges and site visits
  • Helping mature Plain Talk sites expand their reach to neighboring communities
